Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’ – Release Reminder

When we first caught wind of the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’ back in June (yes, it was that long ago), the response was positive, particularly from Spiz’ike fans who were waiting for a fresh new OG-inspired colorway. But once we caught a live view of the shoe, the ‘Bordeaux’ moniker was put up for question as the shoe, while owning similar colors to the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’, didn’t exactly resemble the OG Air Jordan it was tied to. Later on, a pair of the ‘Bordeaux’ Spiz’ikes were given to President Barack Obama as a special gift from Spike Lee and Jordan Brand. Although the Jordan Spiz’ike ‘Barack’ nickname never caught on, it would be pretty interesting to see the prez rockin’ these Jordans during the next State of the Union Address. Saw these in person at a Footlocker...the quality is horrible. The leather on the toebox was creased out of the box, there were loose threads everywhere and there were multiple marks on the shoe. Very poor quality even compared to most Jordan's today, especially for one of the most expensive sticker prices
they sold out everywhere.the people talkin s@@t about these for months are the ones who bought em all!
Honestly I hated this shoe when I first saw pics but they are actually a lot nicer in hand! Too much heat this year though and I wasn't gonna pick these over one of the 4 retros
These are definetely a pass. any REAL jordan head wouldnt get these.
