Nike’s focus on its heritage runners will shine brightly in 2012, with confirmed releases of several of Nike Running’s earliest and most celebrated designs. Dropping soon at the Nike Sportswear retailers is the Air Current, and with its clear kinship to 2011’s mega-hit Air Flow, the Current should follow in the Flow’s footsteps and become one of the most popular Vintage-turned-Retro Sportswear releases of the year. Here we have another look at two upcoming colorways – one in a Hot Red and Black and a second in a Light Blue and Black. We previewed both of these alongside two other similarly color-blocked Currents before, so don’t forget to stick with us as we’ll keep you in tune with all upcoming Nike Sportswear releases for the remainder of the year.

Thank you Nike for stealing my design that I entered for one of your contests. Same exact drawing that I did for this shoe with the laces up top and the strap below it, with a sole similar to the nike frees.
