Air Jordan IX – Holiday 2012 Retros

It hasn’t even been two years since the Air Jordan IX saw a mass release, but it appears that Jordan Brand was just taking a prolonged break. We’ve got some more Air Jordan Retro releases confirmed for Holiday 2012, so if the confirmation of the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ was too much to handle, you might not be able to bear this excitement. According to reliable source TheAFoot on NT, what’s expected to arrive this December is the Air Jordan IX ‘Cool Grey’, a Retro release that first dropped in 2002 that featured a two-hit combo of nubuck and patent leather on the upper. Along with the Cool Grey’s another classic color will make a return as the Olive colorway will also make a return in the fourth quarter of 2012.
Also confirmed is a Black/Blue colorway for November, and a special Johnny Kilroy edition in Black/Metallic Silver for October 2012. For those unaware of who Johnny Kilroy is: Kilroy was a fictional basketball player – an identity that Michael Jordan assumed during his first retirement from the NBA. This character was the subject of one of the best Air Jordan commercials of all-time, which featured comedian Steve Martin as an investigative reporter that was researching Kilroy, his true identity, and the possibility of Jordan faking his retirement. Releases after releases, JB is slowly making my interest goes beyond them. My sneaker game started with Jordans, and now it's slowly going away. The 9s just release freakin 2 years ago and now they bringing back FIVE freaking cw???? wtf! iono, im getting kinda pissed off for some reason, even though they're just sneakers. I also don't want to wait in line with a bunch of starving monkeys with guns in their pockets, nor do i want to drop $350 for a pair of general release sneakers that was out the day before. i say this a lot but ill say it again: I'm so glad that D.Rose is signed with Adidas. no hype + cheap price. i just feel like venting a lil.
I can't wait, the Cool Grey 9's kill the Cool Grey 11's and the Olives are my favorite 9's. I'm coppin both!!!!!
Photo Blues and Kilroys have me intrigued (still got the others) ...side-note, I work with a girl that has the last name Kilroy...let's just say she hates me and Jordan Brand from my endless jokes and references to Johnny...:-)

Yeeeah! It's been so long! I remember the day I walked into Niketown to cop and I still got them but sadly age has taken over. Can't wait to cop again and this time won't pass on the olives!

yuck them CG were ugly back then and still are today however the kids will flock to line up and cause mass hysteria. ill take the olives though
