Nike Air Flight 89 – Varsity Red + Soar

After a few years resting in the Nike Sportswear vaults, the Nike Air Flight 89 returned in early 2012 to take advantage of its 23rd anniversary. It might not be getting the kind of attention that contemporary design the Air Jordan IV has this spring, but the Air Flight 89s already beat the Fours to the punch in releasing their ‘True Blue’ colorway. Next up is a duo that separates out that pair’s two accent shades so that we get one white leather pair with Soar accents and Cool Grey eyelets, another in Varsity Red with Wolf Grey. man, when i first glanced at the main pic, i thought it's a red white and blue cw, but then i saw the dissecting line in the middle and i was like :( they both still pretty clean though.
I got the black Flight 89's and True Blue's that recently came out, and let me tell you, the quality isn't very good, first time I wore em, creased up. Doesn't even feel like leather, feels like Pay-less Leather.:/

Didn't Nike just release a similar blue colorway of the Flight 89 about a month ago?
Yes they did and the quality on these recent retros are terrible. Look how inconsistent the builds are. The air holes on the blue pair are way more pronounced than on the red....Nike retro quality for ya...
The limited space for the Swoosh is what kills the shoe
