With all the celebrities and trendsetters getting their Nike Air Yeezy 2s early, will they be lining up for a different hotly anticipated sneaker release this Saturday? There are a few significant drops coming up this weekend, the biggest non-Yeezy of which is likely the Air Jordan IV in its original ‘Military Blue’ colorup from 1989. This is the second of the complete set of four OG IVs releasing for 2012 and given both their perfect summertime look and how popular these were last time around in ’06, these are shaping up to be the ‘sleeper’ hit of the day even as they move more units than Mr. West. I was poor when they first came out (16 yrs old, no job) , so now that i have money ill get em. IVs are my favorite!

i work at a sneaker store and these look so cheap in person. the toe boxes come with complimentary creases. plus the white is more of an off-white color.
"Complimentary creases"......lol nice. Just like all the 3s I got last yr came with a weird crease along with the chi town 10s and cement 4s so far this yr.

I will be scooping up 3 pairs....me, the wifey and my son. Sorry no reselling here! Now a little misleading with "how popular these were last time around in '06" made it sound like they were a big hit and sold out. Yes they are popular but actually these could be found on sale a few months after they released...the good old days!
Those days will be back again on these!! most of the stores I talked to got upwards of 100 pairs!! They are all sweating that they won't be abel to get rid of even half that many!! Why can't they send that many pairs all the Jordans that would curb all the reselling and everyone would get theres! But I think you'll be able to find these well into next week maybe the week after that!! IMO.
06 release made it to be on sale at the factory stores. These will sell out this time the same day. Just the commercializing of the culture. It happened with hip hop also.

do these run big just like the other IVs from this year?
great shoe, great color, great history behind the shoe BUT due to the quality of my 2012 cement 4's, which is the same material that this shoe is being made out of, EASY PASS for me, i'm not dropping $160 on a shoe that's going to crease after 1 wear..
ive worn my 2012 cement 4s more than 7 times and i still havent seen creases or any signs of potential creasing on them
they look fine, just not a fan of this colorway

They can release these straight into the toilet. The quality is terrible.
The quality is bad, and i do have them already. Worst quality on a Jordan i've seen in a long time. I just compared to my pure$ 4z and quality is really bad. But of course it isnt stopping me from keeping them.
