The third ‘OG’ colorway of the Air Jordan IV confirmed to release in 2012 is the ‘Fire Red’, expected to hit Jordan Brand retailers this August. This is one Retro that is truly distinct from its two predecessors, as it features a Jumpman rather than a Nike Air on the heel, and comes clean with white leather rather than using the Spike Lee-centered ‘Mars Blackmon’ logo on the heel. Sans-Mars, Sans-Nike Air – regardless of the outcome, these are poised to be one of the best Retro releases of the year. By now ppl should know that the colors vary feom light to dark & bright to dull. This is varsity red but the color of fire red. Compare the red to any other fire red jordans and u have it there. Every fire red color from 89 to now has changed like every varsity red since 98 to now has changed. There basically giving us fire red but calling it varsity red.

Has anyone ever told you to think before you speak? Probably have but you don't take advice do you. These are basically Fire Reds. The red just isn't as bright.

would've been nice to have fire red instead of varsity red, to give more of an og touch. but these still look great regardless; jb distinguishes each new retro a little from its predecessor. IMO i like the bred 4s more.
