As if Mayor wasn’t already considered the most elite Air Force 1 aficionado, he just showed up in photos rocking a ‘gold medal’ that both commemorates and demonstrates his commitment. Mayor came in first with what’s effectively the world record time, but that doesn’t mean you can’t also get in on the masterfully executed Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘The Hero‘. The latest release from the AF1 XXX Pearl Collection celebrating 30 years of Air Force 1 excellence honors America’s Olympic superstars with a golden speckle on its luxurious leather upper and midsole, adding a gold patina to the medial side in tribute to a rich heritage of superior efforts. asked everywhere online and no one wants to give information on where you can buy these but they do say they're releasing globally 8.31.12 but no one is saying where you can purchase them even @nikestore said they wont have them online tomorrow

I don't rock AF1's anymore but I have to say that this sneaker right here is one of the best CW editions that Nike has ever produced!!! This is one of the "Holy Grail's" of AF1's, tru story! I think these pictures don't really show the truth about these sneakers, i think if you see them in the hand and on the feet you could really grasp the sexiness of this sneaker.
I can see these…every now and then Nike comes up with a clean AF1. 30 Anni collection is hot.

I wonder if nikestore will have these? If so, i'm gonna try and cop a pair. I love the overall look of the shoe and how the lateral and medial sides of the shoe differ.

@Silvestre BM Yeah, I was thinking the same thing . Keep the side walls. But make the sole either clear or gold. Just a little more contrast would make them perfect... but it's not a deal breaker.
