There are a few Air Jordan colorways that you just don’t expect to ever get the retro treatment. All of the OG’s for instance are fair game, but the more limited and newer era pairs kinda come with the notion that it’s one and done as far as their release (save for a few of the more iconic ones, see: Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’). Breaking that mold is the word that the Air Jordan IV ‘Thunder’ will be making its way back onto retail shelves in late 2012, likely doing so in limited numbers once again. if they bringing these out there may be hope for the laneys next year.... but this is big news a serious curve ball no 1 saw this coming at all

This CANT be real! I HAVE to be dreaming! This shoe is already hard to find now a days unless your willing to pay a Bentley car note on a pair someone is free willing to give up but I cant believe it!
If Jordan starts retroing exclusives i will be the happiest guy ever (sneaker wise) but then again they will lose their exclusiveness so its a bittersweet feeling.
I'm excited. 2013 will be the best year. I honestly thought i would be a 70 yr old grandpa watching my grand kids rock these. Middle finger to them!
As long as they keep doing numbers, they will retro, re-retro and re-re-retro. So dont sweat if you cant cop the first time around folks, another is right around the corner

Funny because I just said all these jordans would re-release in the Air Jordan retro Theme Day post. And people thought I was crazy. JB ain't keeping nothin exclusive anymore.

Damn I just watched an uncut demo of the last of us and I was like this day is good, but this makes today great. I'd heard a rumor a little while ago but this caught me completely by surprise

@Air Steve Less than $500, I think your talking about the lightning's. I haven't seen a pair of Thunder 4's go for under $1000.
@TENDROCKS Yes but when they released due to the jacket the went for 500 online retail so if there 160 that would be the cheapest they have ever been

IMO some Jordan's (i.e. these, mochas etc.) aren't meant to be retro'd, kinda like how they shouldn't bring back the nike air. keep OGs OGs and retros retros. One of the big draws to these shoes (not the upcoming retros) is that you shouldn't have another opportunity to cop them.

@VaSneehed bringing them back takes away from what they are. they're limited as fuck for a reason.
@NolanHayes I understand what your saying by they're limited but some people either were unlucky, didn't have the money or just didn't have the time to get these sneakers! And if these do come out these will be a great second chance for people like me who really want this sneaker without having to pay over 1,000 for a pair! Plus it's not like they will put these out as a General Release so relax brodi. So they will still be limited just Jordan Brand might add a few more on the market.
