The Jordan Brand folks headquartered in Beaverton, OR love telling stories behind their products. Take for example the Defining Moments series of Air Jordan Packs that re-told Michael’s legendary achievements, or one of the more subtle attempts like the Air Jordan V ‘Laney’, which was a throwback to Michael’s High School days. Of the entire Jordan saga that spans nearly three decades, no story is as entertaining as the ’94 tale if Johnny Kilroy – a fictional persona absorbed by Michael Jordan during his short hiatus from the game of basketball. It was a positive, light-hearted spin on Jordan’s sudden retirement from the Bulls (partly sparked by the death of his father), which focused on Jordan’s burning desire to step on a hardwood court – regardless of what uniform he dons or name he assumes.
In 2012, Jordan Brand revisits the story of Johnny Kilroy with this unprecedented ‘Pack’ of Air Jordan IX colorways, with each edition representing one of the many pseudonyms that Michael – no, wait – Johnny Kilroy used during his short span in the spotlight. Motorboat Jones, Calvin Bailey, Fontay Montana, Bentley Ellis, and of course, Johnny Kilroy are the inclusions of this roster of semi-pro ballers, and beginning this October 6th (the same date in which Michael announced his first retirement), the saga of Kilroy will be re-told – not in E! True Hollywood Story style, but with dope sneaker releases. Check out these exclusive images of the Air Jordan IX ‘Kilroy Pack’ below and let us know which of the six colorways you like best.

What are the black/blue ones called?
The Black/Blue joints look so similar to the Photo Blue ones...
I need those Calvin Bailey's and the Black/Carolina Blue pair.
i like the kilroys
So wheres the shoe by shoe break down? or do we have to wait for the release of one work the official statement?
By the way, that first picture is epic!!!
Motorboat Jones! Only ones I what!
...man, i know some cats that would give a kidney to get these.
If you aren't getting all 6, no point in getting any.
I ain't wasting my loot on any of these.
I like kilroys bandits n montanas the other 3 can go away
If you watch the commercials you can see the team the Mysitcs, (last picture they show in the commercial) and thats what the black and baby blue pair is, idk the name of the player though
@Showtime_3233 it's slim Jenkins homie and can we plz get the rest of the release dates,(if anyone knows anything) all we know is Kilroy and Fontana and I need at least 3-4 of these if possible, planning is neccessary...quite sure these wont be the most obtainable kicks

@ABoog thats yellow not orange
@ABoog these sneakers have nothing to do with the Knicks nor Raging Bulls. SMJ
@Neezy @ABoog lol i think he just made his own colorway names
the red IX's "Motorboat Jones" is going to be limited release. the only pair im not feeling is the white/orange. and where did the black/blue IX's come from? lol
@SamuelHur those are da Bentley Ellis'
Just might have to grab a couple of pairs I like!
At first glance I thought the black and blue pair were they photo blues
Jordan Brand is desperate for our money hahahaha.
Where the hell did the black/blue pair come from? Haha.
I think the Calvin Baileys are bad, other are average. Gonna pass on all of em though. These would be a straight collector's thing for me. I doubt these will ever be reretroed and I guarantee resale will be ridiculous. Would look very good in a dislay case and other memorabilia. Collectors- Try to get the whole set if you're gonna get em.
I Neva seen the black and baby blue pair before!!!!!! What r those I Want those lol. Other than that I'll take the kilroy's 4 show
Trash...
WTH I've never seen that black pair. Did I miss something?
i hope the releases are spread out.
