Spike Lee hasn’t had much of a problem expressing his personal style and taste through his films and fashion. The man responsible for a plethora of generation-defining films recently opened up about his start in the film industry and actually spends a few moments discussing his partnership with Nike as ‘Mars Blackmon‘ – one of the fictional characters he created for the film ‘She’s Gotta Have It’. What unfolded as an idea by Nike’s long-time ad-agency compatriots Wieden & Kennedy ended up becoming one of the most iconic ad campaigns in history and set the ‘Air Jordan’ off to new heights. Spike speaks candidly about the terms and process of this partnership in the video below, so take a look and absorb some of this great info from one of the most influential figures in all-time sneaker history!
