Next year will see Nike Sportswear take a step sideways from their Hyperfuse updates, as the Swoosh’s heritage brand readies each of its Air Max running staples for an Engineered Mesh upgrade. Joining the Air Max 1, AM95 and 97 is the Nike Air Max 90 EM, pictured above in a black and grey look with red accents whose speckled midsole adds an offroad twist to the aggressive palette. We already know that Engineered Mesh will also play a major role on the Zoom Kobe VIII and possibly Eric Koston’s next Nike SB signature, so stick with Sneaker News to see how far the NSW EM push goes and let us know what you think of this pair of Ninetys.
