The most prominent design feature of the all-new Air Jordan XX8 is the zip-down construction that allows for a tight, bootie-like fit as well as a more casual, lower-cut stance when zipped down. This dual-personality of the XX8 allows the already versatile design to be both street and court ready, but what are your initial thoughts? Would you rock them off the court? These are PERFORMANCE sneakers. They are meant for basketball players, not for you to wear on the street and to school. That's what retros are still around for. Please understand that before you bash the sneaker, which is actually a nice sneaker especially for performance. God.
Gotta stay away from this gimmick stuff Tinker. The 2011's were sweet, why? Classic, simple design. These are just more fodder for the fire.

@dopeman978 ok i did typo and didnt proof read it cuz my comp has auto correct and i didnt have to use names but that doesnt take away from what i said. he gave u an option to wear it covered or uncovered and like its annoying seeing ppl not have their own outlook on stuff just going with the crowd. thats just me sorry if i offended anyone.

@DesmondDiggaDezDavis you have every right to voice your opinion, but to me that lining has to come off, that shoe has a nice midsole and the insides looks nice(color is whack) but that lining has to come off.
Honestly, this can't be it. I'm sure there will be outrageous hype surrounding theses (especially where I live), but these are not it. Not for me, at least. They can take these back. Having an acclaimed Nike designer AND Spike Lee involved on this sneaker and this is the end result? Y'all should be fired. I'd rather rock the old-school Gary Payton "Glove" kicks. Next.
i hope they come out with a model that doesn't have that lining over it. i want to see what the entire shoe looks like. i believe the shoe would look better without the lining.
@dopeman978 i think the past shows us they definitely will the 16s 19s and 17s had semi shroud mechanisms and they all had unshrouded models as well even the recent stuff the 2012 had the 2012 light so I think a ps or low or light model will certainly be in the future
@JulianScott yea, i really do expect JB to drop a model with the lining off, because the shoe to me would look better with it off. that midsole is nice, i like carbon plate and the translucent sole, but the lining is killing me!
@dopeman978 yes! Looks like they have potential judging from the tongue & eyelets when they're unzipped. Plus, the midslole & sole look good.
@Jose89 @dopeman978 i agree, the entire shoe looks good to me, but that lining is killing it for me in my opinion! i know they will drop a model a few months later with the lining off, but as of right now its a hard 8.0 on a scale of 10.
@dopeman978 ohhh ok I get you. I'm judging based on the shoes with the lining on, fully zipped. Solid 8 how you describe them though.
@Jose89 @dopeman978 nah, i think a 8 is good, because i thought about what you said about the eyelets, and if the shoe is like that on the inside then i feel its a dope shoe, but we'll never know until some one buys it and cuts it off. but if the insides looks like what we already see then its a 8, because i like how they look on the inside, just not feeling the lining and color.
@dopeman978 I hope you're right about a model without the lining. As far as your grade on the scale, I think you went too high.
