Folks outside of our little sub-culture may be of the mind that designing sneakers isn’t exactly rocket science, but those of us privy to the tiny design details and tech triumphs that have gone down in the past thirty years of sneaker developments know otherwise. Taking some very special sneakers out of this world in their own right is illustrator Ghica Popa, who whipped up these slick interpretations of the Nike Air Max 1, the Nike Air Max 90, and the Nike Air 180. Click through with us for a look at each and let us know what you think of this bit of sneaker art in the comments.
