Just how much will the Air Jordan III ’88 retro effect how we judge other retro releases from Jordan Brand? It hasn’t dimmed the fervor surrounding the Air Jordan V ‘Grape’ that’s for sure, despite the pictured pair coming with the Jumpman hit on the back instead of the returning ‘Nike Air’ treatment. It’s been a number of years since we’ve had a crack at this coveted colorway regardless and we’re pretty sure folks won’t have too much nitpicking to do when the sneakers arrive come April. I'd prefer this lacelock. At least it matches one of the colors on the shoe. The red was an irrelevent color for the lacelock because theres absolutely no red on the shoe. But I'm not gonna lie, I'll be copping no matter what color the lacelock is.

People like to be annoyed and complain. It makes them feel powerful. Thats the only reason I can think of, as to why people who are sick of reading about the same shoe CONTINUE TO CLICK ON ARTICLES ABOUT THAT SAME SHOE. Did you expect to find out something new, and get pissed when you saw the same old thing??? Thats the game. Skip the article if you can't take that chance. Personally, I like to see different angles and shots of the shoe in different lights. Some articles have pics from bgrade sellers, so you can't always consider those pics as official. In this case we see a different lace lock. So I will read the next post about this shoe to find out what the actual lace lock color will be. Also, I'm checking the articles for any updates on release dates, availability, etc. I agree with you lil shaun. People just want to hear their own voice, or in this case, see their own comments. Finally, people think its cool to be rude, have an attitude, and be abnoxious towards other people in America these days. Its not only acceptable, but admired when a customer complains, gives attitude, and condescends to some lowly worker at a dept. store, fast food joint, or any service oriented business. Some adults act out like spoiled brats when something doesn't go their way. Thats not being strong, thats being an immature, patheitc brat. SN keep doin what you do. I APPRECIATE IT.
Don't be surprised if Jordan Brand re-re- retroes these in 2015 with Nike Air on the back for the V's 25th anniversary.

@Jbet If any of the fives EVER received "Nike Air" again, It'd probably be the Fire Red (with the black sole). It's been a long time, but I don't think he ever wore the grapes in a defining moment in his career. Come to think about, I can't seem to recall him wearing the grapes in a game.
@Lusinmader @Jbet It would be nice to see Nike Air on the black/ metallic silver Vs too. You know it's going to happen on some OG colorway (no matter when the last retro dropped).

The purple paint is too dark the blue soles I mean damn SN yall really posted that. Lastly give sum shoes a break.
These are looking great and ill be copping for sure. Ive been trying for a while to find a good 06 pair, but these will be great. The nike air treatment wouldve been nice, but it doesnt really matter. Maybe the laneys will drop too who knows. happy 2013 all

this is something i don't get! why keep showing the sneaker over and over again! they treat retroes like they just came out! i seen the grapes (OG) the other day while watching "a different world". seriously SN you guys need to better jobs of showing the same pics over and over again of the same shoe, we already know what they look like and made up of
