To start the NBA Season, Ray Allen whipped out a jaw-dropping PE colorway of the Air Jordan XVI, which immediately sparked discussions of a possible Air Jordan XVI Retro in the near future. This latest bit of funky news might add more verity to that notion as we get a look at an unreleased Air Jordan XVI Low that was originally destined for a Fall 2012 release. Coincidentally, the Air Jordan XVI Low in the original Black/Metallic Silver was the last Air Jordan XVI to release during the original run, and perhaps somewhere during the product line discussions, this 2012 Retro was shelved. Thoughts on Jordan Brand scrapping a release and the potential wide-release return in 2013? Mannnnn I really want them to Retro the 18s. They need to start focusing on the older releases. How many times are they going to retro the same shit?

@SneakerCraze Well that's really the point people won't stop buying them. So why not release other Numbers that people actually want?
@Sensible_Swag I think it's obvious that people still want the older models to continue to be retroed simply because they sell out every single time they're released. There's not enough demand for the newer models to be retroed yet, I guess.
Would have def copped these. Cant wait to see these, 17s, and 18's again. Still got my lightning 17s. It seems like these lines of retros are forgotten history these days. At least for us who like these still got some exciting releases to look forward to.
Yeah I agree with you. They should retro them. But you know if the metallic case came with the 17s again, then this time around they would probably charge $350+ for them

These fucking suck hard in my opinion. Jordan was right to not release em. If you are gonna release 16s, make it the highs. Most of the low Js 14 forward are ugly as hell.
these just remind of the new jordans they have out now. i hate that turn down collar. i had the carolina color highs and i never like them and i dont like these lol
I hate any thing from 15 to 19 some of the worst Jordan shoes ever rather wear a sc-1 or sc-2 any day over those
@AuntieDrew not really cuz not too many jordans at that time weren't good. 16's, 17's, 18's, ok in certain colorways but 15's & 19's sucked my opinion. 20's barely, 21, 22 hell no, 23 hell yeah and after that fuck no. Well besides the 2011's were nice.

Man I've been waiting for these to retro in the red and white since my first and only pair i had I balled like a set of old tires only jordan lows I liked.

I have the "Bred" version of these from back in the day. Shoe is wack as hell. I cut grass in them!
