Can the game be changed? One brand certainly believes so. This morning, adidas hosted a global media event in New York City to unveil adidas Boost – an entirely new cushioning system that maximizes energy return with a newly engineered material called Boost. Over 90% of the industry uses EVA Foam for cushioning, but adidas has created something lighter and softer that kicks back equal amounts of force so no energy is wasted. adidas’ new running segment called Energy Running will feature BOOST and will be used through its future running products through 2015 at the very least.
