Clae Spring 2013 Footwear @ KITH NYC

Clae is one of the elite few 2000s sneaker startups who weathered the financial meltdown storm and emerged even stronger on the other side. Building on a dozen years of experience, this brand continues to offer new lifestyle-oriented casual sneaker designs that pull from both sporty and traditional design conventions. The Clae Powell is similar to the Ellington we just profiled but opts for a saddle construction in addition to the wingtip look. The Newman is defined by its eyelets emerging from the mid panel and the Mills reads like an adidas ZX hybrid thanks to its classic running lean and a thoroughly modern cork midsole. Have a closer look at all three below, then grab yours at select retailers like Kith.

Those blue runners are pretty clean!
The wingtips and cork bottoms are dope. That blue is a dope color in itself. The colors for the wingtips are perfect, not overbearing. Very clean shoe.
So hard to make wingtips look modern. Nice job Clae.
The first pair is clean
