Nike’s history of shoeboxes has been like an up-and-down roller coaster – the high points being the sick vintage boxes, the low-points being those easily-crushed Nike Sportswear ones, and the loops and exhilarating free-falls being the dope friends-and-family releases (think KD Nerf). General releases have come insider regular rectangular boxes, but what if Nike took it a step further and incorporate actual Air into their Air Max sneakers? This great concept by Raif Schroeder features a visible Air bag as the holding cell for Air Max shoes, which we must say is a cool idea – just don’t leave it near sharp objects. Your thoughts on this “Air” packaging? Let us know in the comments below.

This is definitely cool-looking. I like the idea, and it saves paper, but there are some pitfalls. lol. I keep my shoes on a rack in the boxes, that'll throw off my storage system. The bag is easily punctured and you'd have ppl fussing about getting a "deflated" pair of shoes. How would you try shoes on in-store? With all that said, I still like the idea, but maybe try a clear plastic box and see how that goes.
heck no!!! my fav are the jordan xi draw boxes or the elite drawers. this is a good idea for being environment friendly but a horrible idea!! sorry...next!!!
I'm down only if it brings down the prices.... Like they should with the bred 11 aka playoffs for u new bootys
This is about as dumb as it comes. How would your local shoe store stock their shelves with this crap??
cool for DS but what if i'd to rock my shows then just leave them in "box" for couple months..so what the fuck i'm supposed to do with this sack ?? :D
I could see this used for something limited like those pods for the sunrise pack, but not for widespread use.
Can you put the shoes back in the back after you take them out? Seems like a pain for storage/organization
Knowing Nike they'd do this and jack up the price on their shoes even more. Why pay more for shoes if you're not even getting a friggin box?
Definitely unique, but would be a pain to keep around a bunch of these with all the space it probably takes up. Great idea tho
@Dr Kumar Singh MD They would put it in boxes... LOL
@Kardi buy a new box
@r3dnax3la isn't that the same with boxes though? i don't think it will be that much of a big difference in the amount of space it takes up
