If you hadn’t noticed already, Nikestore has postponed the release of the “Doernbecher” Nike Air Max 95 due to some troubles on the technical side (perhaps the demand was too high and the droves of e-customers crashed the site?). While a later release date hasn’t yet been confirmed, Nikestore has ensured us that a rescheduling will happen, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more on this development and we’ll give you the lowdown when it arrives.
I didn't want the hazelnuts so I sat there refreshing the nikestore twitter page for the 95's and usually they release shoe after shoe a minute from each other and after 3 minutes I started getting suspicious, then it was 10 minutes and I knew something was up. Sat there for 45 minutes refreshing waiting for the tweet, damn near got muscles on my index finger now.
Maybe I'm over thinking it, but I wonder if they were just doing some research of their own on these bots. I think we all knew the stock on these would be very low, so I bet the bots grabbed pairs before the link was even tweeted which NDC to immediately pause the release and ultimately shut it down. ALMOST every single weekend of the year there's something releasing that's hyped up. I've never personally used a bot and honestly don't plan on it, but for some people with no HOH or decent stores that sell most sneaks a bot is possibly their best bet. I think Nike is always listening to the people (and finally acting), but at the same time they are always careful to avoid any spending (probably looking for a very cheap way to beat the bots).
