Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” – 2015 Retro Remastered
2015 will be a hallmark year for Jordan Brand thanks to the new Remastered line of Retro releases. Quick refresher: “Remastered” is a coined term for a new style of Air Jordan manufacturing that promises better overall quality in materials and shape as well as accurate depiction of details such as the Jumpman logo and so forth. The Air Jordan IV “Columbia”, a Retro+ colorway from 1999, is one of the confirmed 2015 Jordan Releases, and today we get another few snaps of the shoes before we bring you a detailed preview in the coming weeks. One thing to note: the “Remastered” Retros will cost a pretty penny, with retail prices above $200 being confirmed in early reports. Get a load of the Air Jordan IV photos below, and stay tuned for more updates on 2015 Jordans and more.
You know what I just noticed about Columbia's? They don't got that netting like other 4s so hopefully the upper won't yellow as fast
These are unauthorized... finally release version toe box looks nothing like this pic... never understand why blogs run with pics from all these over seas sellers that have factory early pairs for sale on their rep sites
@sneakernews the mesh is back
@sneakernews they nice but for $200 plus tax I'll wait for something more worthy of choice to grab plus retro
Thing is the pics came from thug jerry not nike so these aren't official pics idk how thug jerry get some shoes for April of 2015 but sneaker news is here for hype these shoes come out in 8 or 9 months but I guess so I've seen people question fabulous unreleased jordan authenticity so we got to question a thug name jerry I'm jus saying let's wait for the official b4 we start hating
Im sorry but their idea of Remastered quality and shape is terrible from the look of these! The leather was so soft and supple on the OG pair that the Toebox was more of a rounded shape as opposed to this square shit that they've been giving us for years now. I could be wrong. The leather could actually be very nice and just needs to be worn a few times to break in. Let's hope that's the case. Just a few things different, for instance they threw the flat laces on them when we all know that the Retro+ models got the SB style laces. They really need to hire a Die Hard Jordan Retro Head to help them make these Remastered kicks Successfully. Here I am boys...
Sad as it is, this looks like the same poor material from the latest fire red 3 model. I bought them and returned them because it was such low quality. LowLYmastered... Come on now JB. All the money and you can't make a pair that's premium quality, they cost enough.
so are yall people going to fake on the OREO 4s that they said are apart of this "Remaster Collection" ... becuz i do not like over 200, but i need them oreo 4s, and i know some ppl would agree with me on that
Man they better improve the outsoles cause usually they melt off in 2 pivots! The outsole is the most important part when it comes to quality!
@sneakernews These shits still ain't shaped right. Toebox is too big. These so called remastered shits ain't gone be no better...watch
they are called trial runs, first batch etc.... of course, they are unauthorized. so they can test it before the final product gets made. and all of this pairs have a 'promo' tag inside them...
I think I have to skip em cause I'm against the $200 and here's an interesting question, anyone know if they're switching exclusively to remastered or whatever or if they're gonna drop normal ones for under $200
@Old Head 1 i thought that was what they initially said at first too... then after taxes it would equal 200, they dun pulled a sneak move out the cut smh
@AidanMM when we had the article a month or so back, it said 2015 jordan retro remastered telling us of all the ones that we would see and more to come ...so I think this will be the approach on all jays... but dont quote me on that, have to go back and look up the article
Damn I hope that changes cause that would mean no more retros for me... Except maybe like one a year
@AidanMM i mean how many are you buying now tho, at the price of $170-185, 200 is a jump, but i mean not by much OR is it just outta principal for you?
