The Nike Hypercross TR made noise when it was first introduced mainly for the fact that it shared the same hexagonal zoom air unit as the LeBron 12. The cross-sport trainer held its own though, enough to even warrant a sequel as this Nike Hypercross TR2 surprised in a brief glimpse earlier today on the Swoosh’s online store. At first glance the model is nearly identical to its predecessor. The outsole remains intact with the seven hexagons providing an extra burst in your step thanks to an entirely new absorption of energy. The unique midsole unit is back too, and use of Dynamic Flywire returns to help bolster a lockdown fit for improved lateral movement. The heel support and mesh is a bit more flushed out in the second installation, as the upper ditches the brief spots of fuse construction for a full length breathable mesh. A unique 3M print lands on the toebox with an array of hexagons and triangles fading into the rest of the silhouette. So far six colorways have appeared in the initial preview, and you can check them all out below.
