Ronnie Fieg And New Balance Release Third Straight Black Friday Collaboration

Ronnie Fieg And New Balance Release Third Straight Black Friday Collaboration

Ronnie Fieg New Balance 998 Black Friday Collection 01

Ronnie Fieg and New Balance partnerships have become a Black Friday tradition of sorts, and 2015 will be no different thanks to the upcoming New Balance 998 “City Never Sleeps”. This is the first time Fieg is reworking the silhouette and this release has sort of an autobiographical context as Ronnie takes inspiration from his upbringing in and around New York City. A trademark tri-color blocking hits throughout to form a unique gradient consisting of a blue nubuck toecap, midnight navy nubuck on the mid-section, and a solid black pigskin on the heel for a premium take on New Balance’s classic training model. The use of different shades of blue is meant to depict New York City’s reputation as the city that never sleeps. The Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 998 “City Never Sleeps” Collection will drop this Friday, November 27th at 6:00AM EST at both Kith locations and 11:00AM EST on KithNYC.com.
