Although the whole concept of the Air Jordan XII is based on the Japanese Rising Sun Flag, the designers at Jordan Brand decided to create a special colorway to commemorate the inspiration behind the great sneaker. As you may know, the ribbed uppers of the Air Jordan XII were designed after the rays of the Rising Sun.  On this pure white shoe, alternating perforations really accentuate that feature.  Red and black accenting on the heel give a little of that Japanese flag coloring.  Rumor has it that these kicks were supposed to come with insoles printed with a Rising Sun design, but due to complaints, it was replaced with a plain insole.  However, some of the earlier produced pairs of these sneakers contain these insoles.  Pics via Kixclusive
