Fireberry played a key role in Nike Basketball’s 2012 World Basketball Festival quartet, and just like their Team USA styles will soon be followed by a golden tribute to the early ’90s Air Jordans, this new pair will soon pick up where those aforementioned pink hits left off. The Air Jordan VII GS ‘Fireberry’ is a feminine reply to the ‘Golden Moments Pack’, combining the white leather from that duo’s AJ6 with the AJ7 silhouette in a style that comes off as the yin to last year’s Orion Blue yang. Click through for a closer look at this Saturday, August 11th release and let us know if you plan to cop a pair at retailers like Social Status.

The upcoming Air Jordan IX ‘Johnny Kilroy’ retells one of the most entertaining stories in Michael’s eventful career, when he and Nike teamed up to put a lighthearted spin on his early retirement in 1993. Johnny Kilroy was Michael in disguise, gaining recognition for his Jordan-like performances in semi-professional basketball games (that is, until the Bulls added Kilroy to their roster). That Silver/Black colorway of the Kilroy IXs is certainly one of the more anticipated newbie Air Jordans set for a release in the second half of the year, but if you want to get a jump on that colorway, a GS-only colorway of Air Jordan 1 Phat just came available. Get laced up in these new Air Jordans now at Jordan Brand retailer CNCPTS and be on the lookout at your local spot for these to show up!

The Jordan Son of Mars has been a success thus far, so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched for Jordan Brand to expand the ‘Spike’ category with yet another multi-hybrid Jordan sneaker beyond 2013. Despite what Jordan has planned for the Air Jordan x Spike connection, the Spiz’ike will be tough to beat because even six years after its debut, the Spiz’ike continues to enjoy success at the level of Air Jordan legacy models. This upcoming Holiday 2012 release of the Spiz’ike will also be featured in kids sizes (pictured here), and with these adopting a classic Bulls colorway (some might even call it a poor man’s Doernbecher III), we expect the Spiz’ike to continue its success. More shots below, so take a gander and stay tuned for more updates. Photos: taobao

All aboard the Air Jordan VII train when the original ‘Olympic’ returns (again) next Saturday, but if you already copped ‘em in 2010 and don’t need to double up, how about a little ‘Fireberry’? While the release date hasn’t been confirmed just yet (likely a late July/August release), the Air Jordan VII ‘Fireberry’ has been quietly gaining steam as one of the better GS-only Air Jordan releases of the year. It’s moderately spiced with just the perfect hits of ‘Fireberry’ and purple for a truly femme-only look, while the White/Black base maintains balance and keeps it nice and simple. More of the ‘Fireberry’ VII after the jump, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for firm release information. Photos: taobao

Can anyone remember Michael Jordan borrowing a pair of kicks from Ken Griffey Jr.’s closet and wearing the Diamond Furys during his short tenure with the Chicago White Sox organization? It was one of those rare non-Air Jordan footwear moments for Michael that we’ve covered before, but it’ll be a long time ’til you see MJ rock anything else without his Jumpman silhouette. That shouldn’t be the case for the small-footed girls come this Summer because Nike Sportswear just dropped a new Voltage Cherry colorway of the Diamond Fury (the Max Air, Fused-out version, of course), so peep the full profile shot below and head to Eastbay where they’re available now!

Yes Father’s Day is right around the corner (Sunday, don’t forget) but the day before will belong to the sons in Jordan Brand’s case. More specifically the Son of Mars, which is hitting the shelves in this all new colorway as of tomorrow. And while the GS sneakers do feature some pretty bright tones both on the lining and the Jumpman logo hits the pair overall isn’t too far off from the whole white/cement look, with not too much of the upper straying from that well established Air Jordan palette. Like what you see? Click through for more and cop the Jordan Son of Mars ‘Prism Blue’ ahead of tomorrow’s drop from shoejocky on eBay.
