That historical link is being mined again for this new set of Puma States pairs dubbed the “Cooler” pack. The States shoes both feature the signature gold branding on the sides and keep things tonal by allowing the form strip logo cutting across the side to stick with the same shade as the rest of the shoe. Puma is back for a fall-centric Tree Camo Collection. The brand continues to utilize the combination of the Puma Basket in both lowtop and hightop form alongside the Puma Disc Blaze for a contrasting aesthetic of a classic old school basketball silhouette alongside one of their more tech-savvy runners. And while camouflage doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, these pairs cleverly utilize a new tree camo that has a bark-like texture that flows in a greyscale on the two Baskets as the premium brown hue arrives on the Disc. Puma XT2 “Splatter Pack”

The Puma XT2 has been a busy sneaker this summer between collaborating with KITH’s own Ronnie Fieg and Sneakerness (Although that shoe will show up later in September to coincide with the first France show). Both pairs utilized a premium black leather upper, and while it definitely helped the notoriety of the silhouette, it didn’t do much in terms of availability as both were or look to be fairly limited runs. The latest “Splatter Pack” should open things up though, as three pairs feature an array of zig-zagging prints on the toebox and heel in a color blocking reminiscent of a certain elephant-wielding Jumpman model. The models are presented here via their new Swift Tech builds, which intend to infuse the aforementioned silhouettes with some high fashion influence.
