The Nike Air Tech Challenge II “US Open” has a 2014 sequel, just like the “Wimbledon” pair before it. This time around the shoes end up much more patriotic than last year’s US Open edition – they are here dipped in a red, white, and blue combination and feature some USA embroidery on the back end. The good news is that the shoes are right around the corner – the Nike Air Tech Challenge II “US Open” release date is August 21st, and they’ll be available at Nike Lab locations (No word on whether or not other retailers will have them). Take another look after the break and tell us in the comments if you’re feeling the Nike Air Tech Challenge II “US Open 2014″.

With a black leather upper with snakeskin imprints and a solid gum outsole, this Kobe release is purely for the off-the-court outfit grids, but with the same comfort tech embedded in the sneaker’s DNA, expect these to perform just as well on the court. An official look at the Kobe 9 Mid EXT is just below, so give these shoes a review and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates on the Kobe 9 Mid EXT and its other constituents.

It’s not too often that one of these sets shows up without NYC getting a nod, so we wouldn’t be surprised if that pair was still to come. The initial unveil of the Air Jordan 1 PSNY from the Public School squad came with the promise of an eventual retail version on the way as well. This is that pair, although it’s unclear whether this design has too much to do with that team – they lack any branding suggesting so and instead orient themselves towards the Flight 23 store in NYC in their detailing (The shoes will be released there exclusively). Jordan Brand’s deep and rich storytelling is a major reason why the label’s reached success beyond the OG colorways. The Air Jordan 6 “Slam Dunk”, inspired by the Japanese anime of the same name, is another example of this tradition of connecting stories to shoes; the enticing colorway springboards from the lead character of Slam Dunk, a basketball-centric comic that debuted in 1990. A release date for these Slam Dunk Jordans hasn’t been mentioned just yet, but stay tuned for more updates and we’ll deliver that info to you when it becomes available.
