Air Jordan 7
The Air Jordan 7 is Michael Jordan’s seventh signature basketball shoe. It originally released in 1992, and MJ won his second consecutive NBA Championship in this sneaker. The original colorways include the “True Red/Raptors,” “Hare,” “Cardinal,” and “Bordeaux.”
The 2022 Air Jordan 7 “Cardinal” marked the first of those OG colorways to release since 2015 as the sneakers celebrated their 30th anniversary and enjoyed a massive year overall. That momentum carried over into 2023, when drops like the “Chambray” and “Infrared” brought a ton of hype and attention to Mike’s 7th shoes.
As of right now, it seems 2024 is looking rather scant for the silhouette, with just the GS Ar Jordan 7 “Cobalt Bliss” this Holiday season on the schedule. Instead, it seems like Mike’s 7th signature will cede space to heavily emphasized models like the Air Jordan 4 or Air Jordan 1. Regardless, any of MJ’s original shoes will continue to loom large over the sneaker scene, and a new Air Jordan 7 would be far from the most shocking news. You can find the latest on the model below.
