Celebrity Feet: Drake Air Jordan VII (7) Bordeaux

During his performance at the 94.9 Wildjam in San Jose, CA, Aubrey Graham Drake aka ‘Drake’ wore the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ to match his all-black ensemble. Likely to be the upcoming Retro version (the OGs would probably be unable to handle Drake’s animated performance style), Drake’s kicks matched just fine with all-black and managed to stand out with the charcoal grey and hints of Bordeaux as well as the other bright colors seen on this colorway. Drake’s been Jordan-friendly with his 2010 appearances and he certainly ended the year on a high note regardless of whether he was rocking Originals or Re-issues. Check out Drake’s kicks after the jump and let us know what you think. via mercurynews/wild94.9.

Celebrity Feet: Lil Wayne & Drake – Las Vegas Concert

Lil Wayne surprised his good friend and Young Money label mate, Drake, during his final concert of the “Lightdreams and Nightmares” tour in Las Vegas this past weekend. Weezy, who just finished a stint at Riker Island in New York, came out midway through his song with Drake, “Miss Me”, and performed shirtless wearing only a beanie, jeans, and a pair of adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott Wings 2.0 sneakers in White and Black. Drake was so surprised at Weezy’s unexpected cameo appearance that he almost jumped out of his Black/White Air Jordan II Retro QF’s. Take a look at more pictures from the show after the jump. Celebrity Feet: Drake, Rick Ross, Lloyd, & More @ Powerhouse 2010 Concert

Drake, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Bobby Valentino, Lloyd, and Ne-Yo were all a part of the Power 99 FM 2010 Powerhouse Concert in Philadelphia that was held at the Wells Fargo Center over the weekend. Drizzy showed more of his Jordan closet with his pair of Air Jordan IX’s in the OG White, Black, and Varsity Red that Chris Brown was also seen wearing just a few weeks ago. Rick Ross on the other hand showed up wearing a pair of the recently released Louis Vuitton Black Checkerboard Tower high top sneakers that will set you back a cool $700+. As for the rest of the artists who performed, their sneaker game wasn’t comparable to Drizzy and Ross’. Take a look at some of the performances from the concert after the jump…

Celebrity Feet: Drake Air Jordan IX Retro Black Dark Charcoal

Drake is certainly one of the more recognized ‘sneakerheads’ of the hip-hop circuit, but most of his WDYWT selections have been recently released Retros. Perhaps he just started building his collection or prefers to keep his grails on ice, but regardless of his sneakerhead status, Drake’s been showing up with clean kicks no matter what. Drake made an appearance during the Jay-Z/Eminem concert at Yankee Stadium last week wearing the Air Jordan IX Dark Charcoal, and once again, during a performance at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, the Canadian-bred pop artist chose the Dark Charcoal IX once again to match his all-black ensemble. Check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know what you think of his latest sneaker selection.

Celebrity Feet: Jay Z, Eminem, Kanye West, Drake, & More @ Yankee Stadium Concert

Jay-Z and Eminem headlined a historic concert at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx last night. The two rappers who announced their “Home and Home” concert series a few months ago played two shows earlier at Comerica Park in Detroit and last night marked the first concert at Yankee Stadium, a second one will be held tonight. Last night however both artists pulled out all the stops by bringing some of the music industry’s biggest names. Eminem brought out Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, G-Unit, B.o.B., and D-12 while Jay-Z brought out Kanye West, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and his wife, Beyonce. The two rappers sneaker game may not have been as worthy of talking about as the artists they brought on stage, Em rocked a pair of Nike Air Max’s while Jay-Z looked to have possibly been wearing a pair of his favorite concert sneakers from Radii. Kanye looks to have flown in straight from his performance at the 2010 MTV Music Video Awards and wore the same all Red Louis Vuitton Don’s that he did the night before. Drizzy Drake however came out on stage wearing a pair of the Air Jordan IX Retro’s in Black and Dark Charcoal. Chris Martin from Coldplay performed “Lost +” with Jay-Z on stage in a pair of adidas Originals Superstar’s. Check out more pictures from the show after the jump…

Celebrity Feet: Drake Visits 106 & Park

Drake and Terrence J. hosted back to back episodes of BET’s 106 & Park this week to help promote Drizzy’s debut album, Thank Me Later. On the second day of Drake’s stint as co-host of the countdown show, Drake brought out a pair of Black Red Wing Boots while Terrence J. rocked a pair of the Nike Air Yeezy’s in Zen Grey. Terrence is the second celeb we’ve seen rocking this colorway of Air Yeezy’s in the past couple of weeks – the other celebrity being Common. Drake’s first album Thank Me Later officially released on June 15th and Drake was set to perform live at Pier 17 in South Street Seaport, but due to an unruly crowd, the show was cancelled (which, in turn, generated even more unruliness). Continue reading for a better look at both Drake and Terrence J’s shoes and let us know who had the better pair.
