The ‘Camo’ 574s have garnered the strongest positive feedback of the three major sets for that model this year, but it’s another New Balance suede and mesh makeup that we’re profiling here today. The New Balance 501 joins two 574s to make up this camouflaged trio, with this pair being the most ‘concealed’ of the three. Camouflage on the upper leaves room for the traditional white/black sole setup; how do these 501s compare to their 574 counterparts? Arriving later this year is a quartet of New Balance 501 releases – a real treat for retro-runner hounds who are looking for some season-specific colorways this Fall. What you can expect: Four colorways in tonal-package treatments, built with contrasting materials in suede (on the toe and heel) and ballistic nylon, set above white midsoles and gum outsoles.
