NIKE iD has another Nike Lunar model in its midst as of right now. Joining the customizable footwear platform is the new Nike LunarGlide+ 5, a shoe that’s starting off with quite the bang. For the upper you can go with a solid color, a front to back fade, or what they’re calling a “freak graphic”. The last of the trio of options is certainly the most interesting, the pattern looking like a couple different animal skin motifs mixed into one. Get a look at a couple Nike LunarGlide 5 iD samples after the jump and then grab the model for yourself from NIKE iD.

The Nike LunarGlide+ 5 is a sneaker that will go a bit more graphic than its predecessor. To date there has been no shortage of camo looks previewed for the shoe, ones that shrink down the side perforations for the sake of a slightly more intact canvas across the upper. This new pair registers as the most colorful amongst them thanks to its blue and orange based splotches. See more after the jump and stay tuned to find out when this Nike LunarGlide+ 5 will be at your local sneaker spot.

The most subdued Nike LunarGlide+ 5 colorway to date makes its first appearance today. Ditching the camouflage look that’ll arrive later or any semblance of a color pop, these black and white LunarGlide 5s make the most of the ‘panda’ look with white Dynamic Flywire cables contrasted against a black Engineered Mesh upper. This is about as close as you can get to a ‘classic’ look from a cutting edge performance marvel with so much tech like the LunarGlide, so enjoy its simple beauty in more images below and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

Camouflage colorways hint that the Nike LunarGlide+ 5 has more graphic options in store (not to mention the NSW versions), but most of the styles we’ve seen previewed have been more restrained. Here is perhaps the most subdued yet, a Wolf Grey makeup with white outsole and a hint of Sonic Yellow, which appears greener than usual in these images. Let us know how these stack up to the similarly blocked ‘Blue Hero’ LunarGlide 5 after you’ve seen more below, then pre-order this July shipment from End.

The LunarGlide+ 4 had no shortage of colorways, but it didn’t take advantage of the Engineered Mesh upper’s graphic capacities like the Kobe 8 System. Maybe Nike Running was planning to introduce such styles gradually, because here on the latest version, we see the start of what figures to be a significant variety of patterned styles. The Nike LunarGlide+ 5 makes its first individual appearance in one of the camouflage colorways we’d previewed over six months ago. The fact this model isn’t already available is a testament to the 4′s excellence, but this 5 is quite strong as you’ll see below, so stick with Sneaker News for release info.

The Nike LunarGlide+ is ready to be unveiled in a fifth different format with the Nike LunarGlide+ 5, and without going too in depth around the tech and build of the shoe, we’ll go ahead and say it’s one of the most comfortable sneakers out there. Nike hit it right on the head when the LunarGlide+ debuted several years ago, and the award-winning Lunar outsole gets a healthy upgrade with Engineered Mesh and thick Dynamic Flywire cables for that lockdown fit. We’ve got detailed photos of two colorways below, so give them a look and stay tuned for release info and potential Nike iD availability.
