Hop on YouTube and look up Allen Iverson and you’ll find some of the greatest soundbytes to have ever hit the sports newswire. From ‘Practice’ to his staunch message of “Be Fake” to the young LeBrons, Melos, and Wades of the league, Iverson’s been spitting ‘real talk’ since the earliest days of his career, indirectly spawning a movement of tats, dreds, and baggy gear. His long-running signature line of Reebok sigs were never at the level of the Jordans and Pennys, but this second wave in 2012 is giving the Answer line some serious props – namely the Reebok Answer IV. Following the popular release of the OG White/Black colorway (seen on the feet of Reebok’s NBA athletes like Jason Terry and Jameer Nelson), Reebok will officially drop the White/Red version at select Reebok retailers like Sneaker Politics, so check out this new gallery below and don’t miss out on this end-of-November sneaker release.

November’s already stacked with footwear releases for the rest of the month, but Reebok’s got something else brewing; the original White/Red colorway of the Reebok Answer IV is confirmed for a retail release on November 30th, hitting select spots at a retail price of $125. Reebok’s got that “trio” thing down with the OG White/Black already hitting stores a few months before and the White/Navy being confirmed for a later date, so don’t overlook this end-of-the-month release and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more Reebok updates.

Regaining steam alongside the growing success of the Reebok Question is the Answer IV – the DMX-cushioned fourth signature shoe for Allen Iverson. True ballers consider the Answer IV one of the most comfortable hooping shoes perhaps ever made by Reebok, with DMX-cushioning and the unique Foam-Shock pads that were used on the insoles, but the Answer IV was rife with detail as well; in addition to Iverson’s face presented on the visible bubble on the bottom of the outsole, the insoles featured a special graphic of Iverson’s arm and tattoo. This original White/Navy/Grey colorway with clear inspiration from Iverson’s Hoyas days is expected to release in Spring/Summer 2013, so enjoy the detailed gallery of this Answer IV release and we’ll keep you updated on more Reebok goodies.

The Reebok Answer IV is shaping up to be a pretty important player in the Reebok back movement in the coming months, following up its initial OG offering with an extended retro treatment including old and new colorways alike (no collabs for the moment though). This crop, likely to roll out between 2012 and 2013, features a flip on the aforementioned black and white and also packs in an oceanic blue pair that crams in quite a few differing leather sections on the upper. Now that the white and black Reebok Answer IV is out there in the wild what more do we have to look forward to for this Allen Iverson model taking part in the extended Reebok retro revival? Pegged for November are at least three more releases, the common thread between them being red and a silvery grey. Thanks to the aforementioned red portions each pairs manages to retain just a little bit of 76ers flair, although skipping out on the blue that would certainly cement the inspiration. Reebok has officially opened the doors to the return of Allen Iverson’s signature line, and we’re treated with what might be the most significant of the bunch – the Reebok Answer IV. It’s the model that A.I. wore en route to one of the best NBA seasons in history, taking an MVP trophy en route to an NBA Finals appearance. Although the Sixers lost to the powerhouse Lakers, Allen go the attention of Laketown by taking Game 1 and pulling out one of the most Youtubed NBA videos in history (the infamous ‘step’ over Tyronn Lue).
