It’s safe to say that Vans has been able to transcend strictly skate culture to being a pivotal role in the streetwear. Sticking to their guns, their silhouettes are now common for all types of fashion-forward individuals, ranging from all types of looks. The Vans Japan preview, however, reveals two pairs that seem to be a little more indicative of another footwear mogul. The ‘Court Sneaker’ features a pattern we are all too familiar with; elephant print placed exactly where the pattern was first seen on the Air Jordan III’s. What makes it even more reminiscent of the infamous Jordan signature is the overall shape, and even the choice of design for the lace loops. The colorways of black/red and white/blue seal the deal with its resemblance from the Supreme Dunk Low SB’s. Interesting to see such designs coming from Vans. No word on release info, but we knew this would strike a fancy from our readers. What do you all think paying homage, meant well but bad outcome, or straight up crossed the line? via ABC-Mart
