Nike Air Icarus Extra – Fall 2010 Preview

Nike Air Icarus Extra Fall 2010

As the Air Attack Pack ventures on, its easy to overlook all the Nike’s that don’t necessarily have a visible air unit.  Take this classic for example; though this may remind you of a Skyline sans air bubble, this is more rooted to Nike’s origins.  The Nike Air Icarus Extra came onto the scene in 1992 after the original Icarus model debuted the previous year. A true gem in Nike’s running heritage, this shoe has been absent from sneaker culture longer than most of our readers have even existed. But Nike calls to our beckoning as they retro the Icarus Extra this Fall. Though we would love to see more of the vintage neon styling of some of the originals, the frist string seems to keep things subtle with basic Nike colorways. Stay tuned for further info and releases.
