Nike was co-founded by University of Oregon alum Phil Knight, gained notoriety in the early 1970s when the Bill Bowerman-coached Steve Prefontaine donned the Swoosh and gives the Ducks a ton of cutting-edge kicks and gear, so it’s only right to see classic flagship runners done in UO colors. Check out this new Nike Air Pegasus ’89, a departure from the subdued colorways we’ve seen on this model of late. They offer a similarly simple palette but by using vivid green and yellow shades, these still manage to be quite attention-grabbing. Click through to get a better look at this latest Air Pegasus 89 and if you want a pair, ironically enough, they’re only available from Britain’s JD Sports.
