The Nike Air Vortex got off to a huge start at the beginning of May, issuing five VNTG series colorways ranging from classically simple to new and neckbreaking. This 1980s favorite returns for Q3 with another quartet of new colorways, this time uniformly meeting the expectation you’d have from this ‘fall’ season. All four are fairly dark, the ‘brightest’ of the bunch possibly the first candidate for the elusive ‘Triple Grey’ nickname. The rest are all fairly dark but lightly distressed suedes and off-white midsoles make for softer impacts than you’d get from more saturated colors.
