As promised, the PONY City Wings is coming back. The silhouette registers as the label’s most recognizable silhouette thanks in no small part to their frequent appearance on the feet of one Spud Webb, who even took the lowtop version to a Slam Dunk Contest victory back in 1986. Then there’s also the Air Jordan 1 similarities-the shoe definitely took some cues from MJs entrance footwear world way back when. Continue reading for a full set of imagery on the PONY City Wings and watch for the white/grey and white/black/red pairs to make their return in the first week of August, with the black/red releasing later on 8/15, all at $80. Also, keep in mind that premium retailers like Concepts, 1973 by Mr.R’s (Miami), West NYC, atmos, Wish, Rime, Packers, and UBIQ will be amongst the spots stocking the PONY return.
