Flyknit or Engineered Mesh? You Don’t Have to Choose on the Nike LunarGlide 7

Flyknit or Engineered Mesh? You Don’t Have to Choose on the Nike LunarGlide 7

em-flyknit-nike-lunarglide-7

Nike’s championing of Flyknit has always made engineered mesh seem like a second-tier option, until now. By utilizing both materials on the Nike LunarGlide 7, Nike has created another formidable formula in their running line and changed the status quo regarding EM. Past releases, most notably the Nike Kobe 9, gave us the opportunity to choose the ‘premium’ Flyknit varieties over the ‘cheaper’ engineered mesh looks, but the thought process changes quickly when each is included in a singular model. The LunarGlide 7 features a bolstered Flyknit heel and side panel while Dynamic Flywire adds support. The toebox gets added breathability and a flexible finish thanks to the mesh technology. Stay tuned for a stateside release date of the Nike LunarGlide 7 later this summer and check out the two new colorways below.
