Back in late-February, Nike ushered in the glorious return of the Nike Cortez in the classic colorway used in Forrest Gump. The premium leather construction even returned featuring the pristine white base and red and blue accents throughout. Now the colorway looks to be returning with a new addition of suede on the toebox and heel for good measure. What results is a near identical take (although the Swoosh here doesn’t look as vintage as it did on the previous offering) while a lifestyle quality material addition adds some diversity. This Classic Cortez is slated to arrive at overseas retailers in the near future, so you can expect this vintage inspiration to arrive in the U.S. shortly afterwards. More photos below.
