Nike may have been born in Oregon, but New York City is where much of the brand’s heritage was cultivated. From the historic basketball courts to the bustling shopping districts, Nike has left a major imprint in the Big Apple and will continue to make its mark deeper as it unveils a new World Headquarters in the heart of the city.
Located on 855 6th Ave., this new 150,000 square foot, six-story office features an integrated design studio, several conference designed by Miniwiz, and – get this – a 4,000-square foot basketball court with seating for 400. Yes, Nike’s new office has a mini basketball arena insides its walls, where it will host local hoops leagues and also be for use for the Nike staff.
