Jason Mayden, formerly of Nike Inc. and probably known for being the chief designer of the Air Jordan 2009, has gone on to new pastures. He launches his own brand called Super Heroic, a children’s sportswear brand backed by Magic Johnson that aims to deliver the perfect shoe fit for the needs of active children. His first shoe model is the TMBLR V1, which features a laceless upper that molds perfectly to any foot shape while utilizing a mid-foot strap for lock-down. The packaging is equally astounding as it ditches the typical shoe-box construction and goes with a bold cylindrical shape; each pair of the TMBLR V1 comes with its own super-hero cape.
The shoes, priced at $99, are currently available for pre-order directly from the Super Heroic website.
