If you were a kid in the ’90s, chances are either you or a couple of your friends had Shaquille O’Neal’s first rap album, Shaq Diesel. Of course, Shaq’s career in hip-hop certainly wasn’t as illustrious as his career in basketball, but that album was still popular enough to go platinum, selling over 1,000,000 copies. Now it appears that Reebok is looking back fondly on Shaq Diesel, creating this platinum version of the Shaq Attaq in an eye-catching fully metallic upper, complete with the diamond-shaped “SHAQ” logo from the album cover on the right heel.
A must-have for any hardcore Shaq fan, the “Platinum” Shaq Attaq drops September 1st at select Reebok Classic retailers like Sneakersnstuff. Go dust off your copy of Shaq Diesel and pop it in the CD player in the meantime.
