Saucony’s recent run of food-related collaborations continues, as after their recent joint effort with Dunkin Donuts on a sweet Kinvara 9 for the Boston Marathon, they’ve teamed up with END for a lobster-inspired Grid 8500. Paying homage to a true Massachusetts (where Saucony is based) delicacy, this luxe Grid 8500 features a shellfish-inspired fabrication on the upper and outsole, overlaid with premium suede and leather that nod to the crustacean’s delicate yet sturdy shell. Leather insoles featuring a lobster claw print complete the shoe’s aquatic look, and the packaging encases the shoes in a fish net and lobster-branded box so the wearer truly “catches” their pair of lobsters. This special Grid 8500 is set to drop on END May 11th for $155 USD, with the online raffle closing May 5th.
