The Nike React Presto “Brutal Honey” Releases On May 2nd

With the advent of React foam, Nike landed on a platform with endless potential across sport and lifestyle categories. Not only does it possess prime performance qualities appropriate for training, running, and basketball, but it’s become one of the most sought-after cushioning on the market right now for casual wear. There’s no question that even Nike could not have predicted the mass hype around the foam (much of it due to the demand for the React Element 87), but the timing of the React Presto seems perfect.

The identifiable DNA of the Presto certainly remains, but it’s been reinterpreted through the modified mid-foot cage and the beefed-up midsole that gives the shoe the appearance of a higher heel off-set compared to the original model. The best part about the debut is that the brand is reviving the OG illustrated characters that made the Prestos one of the most memorable sneakers of all-time, and it starts on May 2nd with the black/yellow/gold “Brutal Honey”. Even better, the React Presto is priced at just $120. Check out the detailed photos ahead courtesy of Politics and stay tuned for the drop.
