Michael Le In the past year, the Hike Nike man made a huge resurgence, surfacing once more on many an ACG-inspired release. And though it’s been long since the last, the brand is picking back up where they left off with a fur-lined Blazer Mid.
Rather than echo the colorful tones of the mountaineering sub-label, the pair here opts for an arrangement of neutrals. Along the suede eye stay, toe cap, and forefoot panel, three shades of tan take the lead, accenting over a canvas frame tinged in a dark, earthy grey. Swooshes then dress the profile in white leathers, while the heel tab behind and laces above contrast in black. Elsewhere, within the lining, the smiling Hike Nike man rests cozy atop a bed of warming furs.
Take a detailed look at this Blazer Mid here and expect to see them first in Asia tomorrow, December 24th. A follow-up release in the US and EU will likely take place this January.
