Jovani Hernandez The Nike Waffle One has been delivering solid, budget-friendlier takes all year. Before 2022 commences, the vintage Nike Running-inspired sneaker has appeared with hits of faint purple and “Light Soft Pink.”
Nylon bases indulge in an off-white tone that sets the stage for the soft purple that takes over suede overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel. Profile swooshes and protruding heel clips, then, introduce a barely-discernible rose tone that’s appeared on Nike Sportswear propositions around springtime. Underfoot, the $100 USD pair opts for a tried-and-proven white midsole/black outsole combination that allows for the upper’s arrangement to steal the spotlight.
