Where To Buy The Nike Air Trainer 1 SP “Coriander”

The Nike Air Trainer 1 celebrates its 35th anniversary throughout 2022. To celebrate, the Swoosh had tapped Travis Scott to bring newfound attention to the 1987 design, allowing him to rework Tinker Hatfield’s cross-functional sneaker under his “Cactus Jack” imprint. While La Flame’s relationship with the brand hasn’t been publicly discussed since the tragedy of Astroworld Festival 2021, NIKE, Inc. is moving forward with the model’s birthday.

Alongside handfuls of original styles, Hatfield’s cross-trainer is set to release in new iterations like a “Coriander” take arriving on February 11th. Beyond simply being a new paint job to the 35-year-old silhouette, the upcoming makeover gives way to a structural re-imagination of the Air Trainer 1. Perhaps inspired by Scott’s affinity for the great outdoors and its great success across previous releases, Nike’s design team has reworked the shoe with a much more rugged lockdown strap at the vamp, series of angular reflective strips and durable pull tab at the tongue. The hiking footwear-reminiscent choices pair well with the titular “Coriander” hue, as well as the complementary “Ashen Slate” and “Wheat” tones that claim considerable “real estate” across the special-edition offering. Down below, sole units don’t abandon their good-enough-for-multiple-sports traction, but midsoles are given an eye-catching yellow look that falls inline with the “Neo-vintage” trend that has dominated sneaker-related social media feeds over the last two years.

Enjoy detailed images of the pair here below, and find pairs arriving to Nike SNKRS on February 11th.
