No holiday goes uncelebrated with Nike SB, be it Valentine’s, Chinese New Year, or even 4/20. And while each is appealing in their own right, they could very well be no match for this year’s “St Patrick’s Day” Dunk Low.
Revealed just a week before 2021’s end, the shoe is no loud, overt celebration; rather, it takes the date’s themes and applies it in a more universally attractive manner. At the Swoosh, for instance, gold is given just enough of a stage, matching its more subtle appearances at the heel and tongue. The gum bottom, too, proffers a similar effect, though it narrowly avoids being too much thanks to its darker shade. Elsewhere, the suede upper, lining, and laces are colored much like a clover, which appears in white embroidery along the counter.
