Knowing the grandiose amount of heritage, technological innovation and creative ingenuity residing in Beaverton, Oregon, blending hallmark silhouettes of the past and present has fostered the latest slate of revamped racing models from the Swoosh. Drawing upon the aspects of its predecessors – the Nike Flyknit Racer and Nike Air Max Pre Day – the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer takes on a “University Gold” and “Royal Blue” mockup.
The brand’s staple Air Max cushioning system comes in a cloudy black and white tone that complements the newly adorned muted Flyknit from the 2012 FK Racer for a rejuvenated ride. Reconstructed with soft suede detailing and leather “University Gold” overlays and eyestays, the base of models’ dark brown tongue and ankle collar blend seamlessly above a royal blue Swoosh.
