Update June 15th, 2023: Official imagery has been added.
Los Angeles Lakers second-year guard Austin Reaves has dominated social media as of late with his too-small celebrations while coming into his own as a solidified starter alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Dropping 18.5 points over his last 10 games, one of the most-nicknamed Lakers is now joining the likes of James and D’Angelo Russell as the trio of Lakers who hold their own signature silhouette.
As revealed via Nick DePaula on Twitter yesterday, Austin Reaves is receiving the signature treatment from Chinese sports equipment brand Rigorer. Signing with the burgeoning banner last year as their first NBA endorser, Reaves has suited up in the Rigorer War-Ender throughout the season accompanied by his own logo mimicking the reticle of a firearm. While no technical specifications have been announced just yet, the digitally rendered images of the ostensible Lakers colorway do feature a dominant jet-black ensemble with TPU wires locking down the entirety of the upper. Splotched with yellow and purple accents and affixed with his sight-lock logo at the heel, a clad white sole unit underfoot comes infused with windowed hits of bright yellow whereas a gradient fills the tongue construction.
Set to release in a range of colorways throughout the 2023-24 season, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Rigorer AR1 which is slated to debut this coming summer.
