Nike’s Footscape series hasn’t enjoyed the same level of ubiquity as other silhouettes born in the mid-1990s, but it’s gained a cult-following since launching in ’96. Over the years, the running-focused design has spawned handfuls of different products, including the Footscape Woven Premium, a high-end take on the original hybrid model from the early aughts.
As the Swoosh continues to tease more Footscape Woven styles, it’s also exploring the sneaker’s Premium build, which recently appeared in a muted color scheme. “Black” takes on the bulk of the upper, which features signature woven strips along the profiles, as well as crocodile skin-like overlays throughout the forefoot and tongue. Visible edges favor a “Desert Ochre” finish that bring some notable contrast into the mix, while branding on the top of the tongue and spine appear in “Pale Ivory.” Underfoot, the tried-and-proven midsole also takes on an off white hue, while the waffle-patterned outsole reverts to a pitch-dark arrangement.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch soon.
